It've been a bit of "proof of concept" clip, and this is the final result. I'm suspecting that I've missed some setting somewhere, and the program doesn't use my GPU and/or my export settings are way off because I barely done anything with the editing, just cut out pieces of the raw recording, and placed a bit of ambient music under the audio track. I know there are much more beefy PCs out there but I don't think that my rig would be too outdated or low on specs so I don't know what would warrant the extreme rendering times with Hitfilm.Īctually the old Video Pad Editor done longer projects faster while it've used only the processor.Īt the momant I'm rendering a 1minute 23seconds long clip and the estimated time is roughly 50 minutes in addition to the already elapsed 23 minutes.
Maybe you just did a nice little sequence that is edited together in full with other shots so you select the editor. Maybe you just want to demo a vfx sequence you worked hard on so you only select your composite shot. So following the suggestion of /u/greenysmac (thank you) I've gave a try to Hitfilm Express and it'd seem this'll do as a replacement for my old trusty Video Pad Editor, and on the editing part everything is fine and nice until it comes to exporting. In the Export page you can choose what you want to export from the timeline drop down menu.
